Ganso agent in London for Tottenham talks

Tottenham are launching a fresh bid for Santos sensation Paulo Henrique Ganso.

The Telegraph says Spurs are expected to hold talks today to sign the highly-rated Brazilian international midfielder Ganso in a deal that would be worth more than ?15 million.

Ganso?s agent, Teodoro Fonseca, arrived in London yesterday and is hoping to meet Spurs to discuss the future of the player who has been told he can leave Santos in this transfer window if a deal can be struck.

Santos president Luis Oliveira recently announced that Ganso could go if "the offer matches our expectations" before adding that the club had yet to receive a bid. It?s understood that 55 per cent of Ganso?s contract rights are currently held by an investment group, DIS.

A host of Europe?s leading clubs, including Manchester United and both AC and Inter Milan, have been linked with a move for the talented 22-year-old who recently featured in the Fifa World Club Cup in Japan.
